Youth-led Policy and Action Framework on plastic pollution in Bangladesh (YPAF)

Welcome to the Youth-led Policy and Action Framework on Plastic Pollution (YPAF), your go-to platform for supporting impactful actions to combat plastic pollution and amplify the voices of the people from Bangladesh in Global #PlasticsTreaty negotiations.

We believe in the power of youth-led initiatives to drive change and create a sustainable future. Our platform is a hub for youth leaders, policymakers, constituent groups, and concerned citizens committed to curbing plastic pollution. We provide a wealth of resources, information, and opportunities for collaboration, enabling individuals and organizations to make a meaningful impact.

One of our primary objectives is to bring the voices of youth and other stakeholders to the global stage. Bangladesh, one of the most affected countries by plastic pollution, holds valuable insights and experiences that can contribute to international discussions and negotiations under the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on Plastic Pollution (INC) process. We strive to ensure that these perspectives are heard and incorporated into developing a comprehensive global plastics treaty. We envisage driving impactful actions to combat plastic pollution. Are you ready to take action? Let's embark on this transformative journey together!

Local Consultations

We are going to convene a local consultation in Cox's Bazar with the participation of the local community, environmental experts, and CSOs to address the urgent problem of plastic pollution and its impact. It will also focus on gathering community people's expectations from global plastics treaty negotiations.
